like who exactly wore they and their role on Freddie

Freddie lived in New York City in the early 80's and he and his friends went out to the gay bars together. He made up girl names for everyone and he called himself their mother.

That is the EXTREMELY simplified explanation.

Yeah Freddie loved calling his friends by girl names. Even the band had girl names, Brian was Maggie May John was Belisha Deacon Roger was Liz Taylor
Elton was Sharon and Rod Stewart was Tracey !
