I don't think he is bitter, his opinion is clear. If he regrets not staying in Queen, is very hypothetical. Since he might be a millionaire and Rock star but also all that fame and money might have some cost.

So maybe he is true about no regrets.

About cabaret show partially he is right also he is right for deep cuts songs.

I have no idea what bitterness you guys are going on about. Sounds like anyone one of us. It’s not really Queen, but it gives those who never saw Queen a chance to see the band live. He wishes they would play the obscure stuff at these shows and it’s a shame that we don’t. Probably 1/5 of the posts in queen zone describe exactly this.

Agreed. He was perfectly reasonable in giving his opinion. No sour grapes at all.

Just like Pete Best, he clearly has completely come to terms with his past.

I don't really get why his opinion is treated as anything relevant really, he was with Queen for a few weeks/months before they had even written anything much, they hadn't got to the point where they were really a formed unit that they'd later become, people like Fred Mandel, any number of roadies and studio personell had far more of an insight into the band and how it worked than he did.

But I can see that he would like to be considered as Queen Ex Bass player dispite all that, as for his opinion on what they are now, it's really no more relevant than any of ours, I personally think that had Freddie lived and they were still together they'd be doing exactly this now, a greatest hits tour, just like pretty well ever band of there age, nobody goes to hear the new album stuff, everyone wants the classics, apart from a few hardcore fans, Maca, The Stones, The Who, etc all really do the same, so I suspect they only dofference would be Freddie fronting it with maybe a two or three newer songs thrown in to keep us hardcore fans happy
