Queen Unseen is ok but considering Hince's real life hobby was photography there are ridiculously, frustratingly few photo's in it.

Does anybody know a good place to find Peter Freestone's book? All the copies on Amazon are at extravagant prices. I found Jim Hutton's book at a reasonable price but can't seem to find this one anywhere...

Also someone asked my age range earlier in the thread, I'm in my 20s.

Thanks!

SFF—Peter’s first book is availble on Google Play, at least it is in the USA. I paid $5 and change for it. I did not want to pay $40 on Amazon, even though I would have preferred a hard copy. The Google Play app is free, so I have that on my iPad. There are surely other ways to access Google Play content.

I learned this from someone on QZ, but don’t remember who.

I enjoyed Mark Blake 's "Is This the Real Life?: The Untold Story of Freddie Mercury and Queen" $9.99 Kindle #17.99 Hard Copy Amazon USA

Remember reading (somewhere, have no idea where) a comment by someone who had been interviewed by Mark Blake and reported that he was meticulous about fact checking, calling several times to clarify information obtained during original interview.

Can you elaborate? I'm currently on a mission to get "real" info versus carp tabloid nonsense. Is Ms. Jones intentionally spewing false info? Thanks in advance for opinions.

LAJ is tabloid crap and spreads false information to say the least. An appropriate way to put it.
Please don't buy her stuff, she goes for sleaze.

Unfortunately, LAJ's "wishful bisexual thinking" has made it into this months Life Magazine (about Queen). Barbara V was just a funny enjoyable beard for Freddie, but that ho-hum info does not sell books and movies.

Oh f**k. One would think Life magazine would have went with someone more reliable and honest. Guess not :-/

I only skimmed the magazine while waiting for a prescription ... fortunately I did not buy the magazine

I do not think it was authored by LAJ. The Life Magazine Queen edition appeared to be as shallowly researched cut and paste job

Ew. Glad I will miss out on it after all.

Has anyone purchased Queen in 3D? It seems pretty neat, but I wanted to get other opinions.
