Hi folks!

I always wanted to compile every non-album cover track recorded by Brian and Roger. They have done plenty of them over the years, some of which aren't easily available - so here you are! This is the criterion I followed:

- No main solo album or box set tracks.
- It must feature a Queen member on lead vocals. This excludes "Runaway (Crime Story)", among many others.
- Studio versions and professional live recordings only.
- Chronological order according to Brian and Roger's timeline.

TRACKLIST

1966 The Reaction - I Got You (I Feel Good) (by James Brown)
1966 The Reaction - In The Midnight Hour (by Wilson Pickett)
1984 Roger Taylor - Keep On Running (unreleased cover) (by Jackie Edwards, based on The Spencer Davis Group's version)
1990 The Cross - Foxy Lady (1990-12-07 London) (by Jimi Hendrix)
1990 The Cross + Brian May - Lucille (1990-12-07 London) (by Little Richard)
1995 Brian May - One Rainy Wish ('In From The Storm' tribute album version) (by Jimi Hendrix)
1998 Brian May - F.B.I. (by The Shadows)
1998 Brian May - Hot Patootie (What Ever Happened To Saturday Night) (by Meat Loaf)
1998 Brian May - Maybe Baby (by Buddy Holly)
1998 Brian May - Only Make Believe (by Conway Twitty)
1998 Brian May - Only Make Believe (VH1 broadcast, 1998-06-16 live semiacoustic version) (by Conway Twitty) (48 kHz)
1998 Roger Taylor - Keep A Knockin' (original 1998 version) (by Little Richard)
2001 Brian May - (I Don't Want Nobody) Teasin' Around (With Me) (based on "No Teasing Around" by Billy 'The Kid' Emerson)
2004 Brian May + Cozy Powell - (Marie's The Name) His Latest Flame (unreleased cover) (by Doc Pomus and Mort Shuman, based on Elvis' version)
2004 Brian May + The Crickets - Maybe Baby (2004-09-24 Wembley) (by Buddy Holly) (48 kHz)
2004 Brian May + The Crickets - That'll Be The Day (2004-09-24 Wembley) (by Buddy Holly) (48 kHz)
2011 Brian May + Steve Cropper - I Do (by Lowman Pauling)
2011 Roger Taylor + Jeff Beck - People Get Ready (2011-06-04 Wintershall Estate) (by The Impressions)

BONUS TRACK
1997 SAS Band + Roger Taylor & John Deacon - That's The Way God Planned It (by Billy Preston)

EXTRA TRACKS (February 21st update)
2002 Brian May - Grand Coulee Dam (interview and performance, Lonnie Donegan tribute radio show) (by Lonnie Donegan)
2005 Brian May + Zucchero & Sharon Corr - Cosi Celeste (duet, 2005-06-11 Tromsø) (by Zucchero)
- both tracks suggested by Arnaldo "Ogre-" Silveira
2015 Brian May + Kerry Ellis - Since You've Been Gone (duet, 2012-09-16 London) (by Rainbow)
- suggested by la_ultra_zona

All tracks feature Brian or Roger on lead vocals and on guitar/drums respectively - except for:

- "Foxy Lady" / "Lucille" (live) (Roger on lead vocals only, Brian on guitar only)
- "F.B.I." (instrumental track)
- "People Get Ready" (live) (Roger on lead vocals only)
- "That's The Way God Planned It" (Roger on drums, lead vocals on one verse and backing vocals)

I may have missed some tracks that fit the rules I followed, so please feel free to suggest them. Also, some of my sources aren't lossless - higher quality recordings are welcome!

I would add Since You've been gone (Brian with kerry ellis), live at the Sunflower Super Jam. He signs, also. Is really a great one!

Excellent compilation! Several corrections: 2004 Brian May + Cozy Powell - (Marie's The Name) His Latest Flame (unreleased cover) (by Doc Pomus and Mort Shuman, based on Elvis' version) Cozy is no longer with us since 1998. This cover was demoed sometime around 1997 for 'Heroes' album "F.B.I." (Brian on guitar only, instrumental track) As far as I remember everything was played by Brian May on this track except two guitars by Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt form Status Quo.

Fantastic job, Golden Salmon! Your collections are pure gold! Thanks a lot!

I tried to remember if there would be something else to add and all I could come up with was Brian's Grand Coulee Dam, which seems to be unavailable online, and this:

Of course, Cozy died in 1998, shortly before the AW tour. 2004 is the year the track surfaced on the Alive in Studio II bootleg. So "2004" is sort of a release date rather than the actual recording date. Sorry for the confusion.

Yes! Thank you a lot for the suggestions!

I would love the DVD source for the original 46664 show, it's hard to get hold of. Could anybody share it or point the way to it? PM if necessary! EDIT: "Cosi Celeste" is not from the same show, but my request - for both - stands... :-P

I just realised I have "Grand Coulee Dam" on a mislabeled MP3 file from 2002! The links here on queenzone are down but I can still include what I have. Does anybody know the station and date for the radio broadcast?

I definitely missed this, so I'll be updating it ASAP :-) I would appreciate the best quality available, mine is just a 128 kbit source but maybe that's all there is.

Roger has also performed 'Jealous Guy' by John Lennon and 'I Am The Walrus' by The Beatles, but these were not professionally filmed as far as I know so these don't fit your criteria..

I'm sure I've seen a multi camera shoot of Roger also singing Zep's 'Rock n Roll' with the SA Band, but not sure of the origen of that.

As for "Rock n Roll", you've got my attention: I don't suppose this performance (or a similar one) is available in pro quality...
