It sounds like a second rate Bruno Mars song to me. I can't even call it good. Musically, vocally, visually...it's just not that good.

I don’t approve of that video at all and I can’t stand lyrics that are mumbled, i’ve had iHeart radio on hoping to hear New Eyes and all of the music being played is awful.

Got to say, Feel Something was a much better song for AL. New Eyes...it's just boring and not remarkable in any way, both the video and the song. It seems he took the 70s era/Queen visually with the video, and went with it, but he failed big time, IMO.
