QAL at the Oscars !!!!!

Thank you, all, and especially icy. That was nice. The power came back on 2 hours ago. Been charging my phone and rebooting the TV. Can watch the red carpet now!

Saint Jiub, can’t remember what you said previously if you have been to a QAL show. My first QAL show was at their opening night at the United Center in 2014 and it was so spectacular.

Wow, watching ABC news and my weather is mild compared to other parts of the country. It might still get worse here overnight.

Whoops, I asked you something in the wrong thread.
I know wind storms can be scary. I've seen the worst one I've ever seen and been through in June '17. I will never forget that day and night. I wouldn't wish it on anyone because there was so much damage, but remarkably no one was injured.
If you have a second phone make sure that's charged as well, just in case. I hope the power stays on for you.
What coverage of the Oscars are you watching? I'm watching abc too, Diane Warren right now.

I’m switching back and forth between ABC and “E” in case the Queen guys come on. They just showed Adam on ABC.

I almost missed Adam being interviewed by Ryan Seacrest on “E”.

It was short, talked about how Queen was his family, and his excitement about playing...and the cameo. Honey, Freddie would tempt anyone xD.
Hoping Brian and Roger will have an interview.

I briefly considered going to see that show on my birthday in 2014. However, I watched a few Youtube videos of QAL in concert, and did not like Adam's voice, particularly on rockers.

I also saw QPR in 2006, and enjoyed the first half of the concert, but felt the second half of the concert was blah.

So I had already seen Queen+, and I was not interested in spending over $100 for a tribute concert again

Did Ryan just say all of Queen just then?
