What do we know about the QPL release for this year? I remember Greg Brooks saying that there would be some "Miracles" later this year, and it is the 40th of Live Killers this June, but we haven't heard anything official yet.

It could be tied to...
Smile (50th Anniv.)
Queen II/Sheer Heart Attack (45th Anniv.) -
Live Killers (40th Anniv.)
The Works (35th Anniv.)
The Miracle (30th Anniv.)

If I could make a pitch, it would be a Box Set of outtakes and rarities from 1988 to 1991. We could get an idea of the studio process in the studio, and hear how the band were in their last years with Freddie. It could go nicely with a Documentary, and would even be able to tie-in with the BoRhap film, as a "continuation" of the story.

I think we're going to get a remix/remaster of Live Killers, perhaps with a bonus disc or two. Maybe we will even get a new live CD/Blu-Ray, like the '79 Hammersmith Show.

Least likely is a "30th Anniversary" The Miracle Box Set, as much as we would all like it. I would die for a Package full of demos, outtakes and rough mixes.

Going into 2020, I think we can expect a possible "The Game" 40th boxset. Maybe even a new edition of the "Flash Gordon" soundtrack. Film Music record labels like La La Land Records thrive off releasing rare or unheard film scores, so a limited edition, dialogue-less 2CD set of "Flash Gordon" would probably do well.

In the near future - 2021 - a release of all of the music of "Highlander" (including Michael Kamen's score) could also be a possibility. 2021 will also be the "50th", so we can all cross our fingers, and hope for that fabled "Anthology" boxset, that will probably never surface.

If anyone has any speculation or information, post it below.

What about anthology I think it’s myth

i'm sure they're working on something for the jubilee. I'm hoping it's not the studio collection pressed in Gold colored records.

50 would be a great year for the anthology.

Game 40 is very very likely, i think.

queen + vinyl should continue - i expect all live albums on vinyl + singles collection on vinyl

all videos on blu ray (and maybe in 4k/HDR) would be expected in the near future

THEY SHOULD RELEASE ONE OF THEIR LIVE CONCERTS IN INTERACTIVE FORM, WITH AUDIO AND VIDEO MULTITRACKS MIXING OPTIONS FOR THE LISTENERS CHOICE.

Live Killers hopefully. Smile a distinct possibility since the film.

Hadn't even thought of The Miracle anniversary - I'd love that just in time for summer! And we know there's loads of possible bonus stuff. Fingers crossed for all three, but you know we'll only get one of the above so my money is on LK as it's not on catalogue currently

They might release what they want for us, fans exists one way buy or not buy

To be serious, the gems that are shared here are WAY better than what we get from QP. All these awesome concerts and other things shared here are the real gems. What i've liked from QP were the NOTW documentary, the raw sessions disc which i think we all loved (allthough way overdue) and the Live At The Rainbow '74 release. Other releases didn't interested me so much. And since they let us down so many times in the past when it comes to rarities i won't get my hopes up for something rare this year. They will also do another tour so all the attention will go to that. A 40th anniversary Live Killers boxset would be great but i'm not counting on it. Especially not The Miracle and it's 30th anniversary.

The potential in a Miracle release is just the sheer amount of demos and working version that they know are already in circulation.

The Smile stuff should come out due to the 50th anniversary / Public domain panic that big bands are having at the moment. As Smile recorded their entire output in 1969, those tracks are ripe.

I think the first thing they´ll release Rock Montreal in 4KUHD. or Budpest form magic tour in the same format. Then some kind of upgrade to Live Killers: An expanded edition or a replacement like Wembley´92 did with "Live Magic".

I had some 4KUHD milk once.

Let's not forget that we still need 5.1 surround mixes of the singles from Innuendo onwards...
Dead Daddy Long-legs. I'm still drinking it.

I think a Live Killers box set is most likely, an entirely new version properly mixed with minimal fixes or just a complete show or two. They have already teased us with FBG from Paris on the Bho-Rap soundtrack.
