Apparently, during a performance of Bicycle Race a fan persuaded Freddie to ring the bicycle bells live on stage???? Did it happen? What did Freddie do?

Yep, they had no bells or any intention of playing them but a fan just shouted 'play the fucking bells' and Freddie sourced some bells then introduced them into the horrendously tight show they had been playing for all that time and they pulled it off and it was amazing!

What a fucking genius band they are!!!!!

Unfortunately by the time he got them it was 2am and the stage was being packed away in the empty venue. He just stood there sadly with the house light up and roadies around him wearily and repeatedly making them do a sad - and almost invisible against the shouting and crashing - briiiiiing briiiiiing

And they were in the wrong key. The dickhead.

Freddie can ring MY bell any day of the week, etc etc...

It's a shame Brian was misquoted in saying Rodgers was favourite singer. In fact, Freddie played fake bicycle bells while a rampant Paul Rodgers made the actual sounds behind the stage curtain. Rodgers was, after all, Freddie's favourite ringer ...
