And let's be honest, it's none of our business.

However since when was John a "Founding member of Queen", he joined last?

I would want John to come back and help with Anthology series as one last gift for his fans.

It is just a wish. It's John's prerogative to do whatever he wants.

Look at John and Roger here in 1994. Looked like they were such a good match. Wonder what changed that. Sorry about the unclickable link Mooghead:

Basically blind em and deaf em in the first 10 minutes, and while they are recovering from that put in the less good songs

Sociopath is totally the wrong word to describe someone who prefers not to mix socially/superficially and/or be the centre of attention. Roger either misspoke or doesn't know the meaning of the word but then he never was the sharpest knife in the drawer.

I'd love it if John brought out an autobiography. I'd take his version of events over May's and Taylor's any day.

Probably this has come up before but here Roger and Brian explain John's retirement in Paris 1997 rehearsal footage:

"severely traumatised by losing Freddie"
"desperately uncomfortable"
"I can never do this again"

Thanks Holly for posting this.

Based on the limited shots of John, John looked very stiff and uncomfortable throughout the rehearsals and through the first half of the performance, although he did appear to loosen up somewhat in the last two minutes of the performance.

It is a pity that anxiety appeared to have a grip on John. However, John had nothing to prove and certainly earned his retirement.

Thanks for the link, Holly. Watched this last night and found it interesting. It’s just sad to watch someone singing Freddie’s part even if it is Elton John.

I wonder what goes deeper...

John Deacons relationship with Brian and Roger or...

Roger Waters and David Gilmors relationship
