Quote from the above review. . . "Brian would then do a guitar solo in which he was elevated from the stage at least 100 feet or more into the air" WTF was this person tripping on.
Brian was raised on a scissor lift 15 feet into the air at those shows. . . .

I remember it being higher than 15 feet at the Hollywood bowl, but hey. . I'd have to go check again

The platform gave the illusion of being in outer space so you could easily think it was higher than it was, but not 100 feet.

Sounds like a Glambert wrote that.
"Best Friend" "Fat Bottom Girls"... Oh dear.

The curved down stage (front) screen was about 15ft high. The scissor lift raised Brian to the top of the screen and the Galaxy montage was shown on the down and upstage screens making Brian appear to "float" in space for part of his solo.
The screen and lift appear higher as the front lip of the stage was over five feet above the arena floor.
Anyway he certainly wasn't 100 ft in the air. ;)

It wouldn't be safe to be 100 feet in the air. I get clammy thinking of less.
PS... Sweetcaroline has said Brian was literally in outer space while doing it. Ha!
