I often thing of the first three songs as Queens trpile hit heavy artillery when it comes to epic songs of their and to a lesser extent Father to son with its lengthy guitar solo...
Now I'm here was considered....
What are your guys thoughts and experiences with hearing /watching or being there when those songs were played live??
Ogre battle is for me though... epic build up thumping galloping bass lines in tune with the drums and Brians guitar interlude in the middle section... top it off with Freddies heavy roaring vocals.... definitely THE blueprint yo heavy thrash metal... would have been THE highlight of Queens 71-78 setlist....
One wonders how Ogre battle could have sounded during the works tour
