While the Yoshiki version is more developed from a musical standpoint, the original seems a bit more heartfelt(?). Kind of like comparing the Queen and Brian May versions of TMLWKY

That's fair enough! Do check out the version with Yoshiki though - it's not a straight 're-record' though, but more an almost different beast with a totally different arrangement, and, as noted by 'MusicMan03' above, features some of Roger's best drumming for many a year.
