That video was one of my favorites by Queen. The child actors were great, and when Freddie came out and hugged the kid playing him I died. Amazing idea by Fred.

I like the song, it is really nice. But the video is not my cup of tea.

The Miracle videos were really cool at the time. Even the Scandal one where they looked really dishevelled and rough. Great memories of them on The Chart Show. However, I think this one was disappointing. Looking at it now yeah it's fun and stuff, but I felt a bit like it would've been nice having it a bit more, I dunno… 'them'.

Ross has done well since.

^ banging Jennifer Love Hewitt???
I'd say so! (Though it wasn't in her prime)
The music vid is probably "of its era" when kids tv and cartoons, promotional cereals, toys etc were becoming a huge burgeoning part of everything else.
I'd only seen it after the fact and not from its era. The only Queen video I'd seen even near its era was I WANT IT ALL. That stuck with me, not even knowing the album or song.
I think they figured they'd need a new approach to hit the kids of their first generation. At that point some of it being genuine, some being ripped off (breakthru/invisible man)
I don't like the video much. But i see it had a great following and was semi interesting. Maybe it was a take on trying to copy MJJ with that BAD video bit from MOONWALKER with the kids. Who knows.
Maybe it was concepts of rebirth. Either way I think Ross must have won for looks and staging because he looks and acts very little like Freddie.
Sure he got 4 moves down but hey. Whatever. Definitely a stinker novelty if you're a fan of the band

It's almost like they made in purely to show clips in future documentaries that weren't just them play live.
I bet there are new fans who genuinely think it's the actual band when they were young.
Or dislike it because Freddie isn't played by a little Indian boy.

The video fits the song perfectly, both a weak!

I never liked that video. I had no interest i watching kids pretending to be Queen, and when the band comes on at the end, Freddie looks sombre (of course, we know why now).

The best video from The Miracle album was Breakthru, by far.
I Want It All was so-so.
They all looked rough in the Scandal video.
The Miracle was the dullest video of the lot. It barely had Queen in it.
