Katy.
That’s great you have tickets! Is it part of your season?
Yep, I think you will enjoy it and will have fun

I was wondering same thing about the view. The book thread still has “normal” view.

Katy,
I owe you a few answers: There was a table of people outside who stopped me to look at the robe and asked about it. It was really fun to wear it. It was warm that night so didn’t wear it thru the show.

Dress was mixed some were in nicer blouses, etc. our group were all in t-shirts. Some queen shirts. Except me. Since has robe. Wot a casual top with beaded neckline. If that helps.

Hi Chevyman, so glad you enjoyed the link. Did you see the video of photos too? I added on the video later. It sure would have been fun to party with them, but I don’t know if I could keep up! LOL I would have loved to go on tour with them just for the experience or hang out with Freddie at Garden Lodge.

Have a good day everyone!! xoxo

Thanks for the review of WWRY, JB. Sounds like a good musical. And enjoy the show, Katy!

Music that ROCKS featuring the music of Queen along with my local symphony, is coming to town with vocalist Brody Dolyniuk. My friends and I decided not to go as we found out about it a little too late and the only tickets left are the most expensive and in separate seats. So a bunch of us will just sit around and listen to CDs (joking)!!

Has anyone heard of Brody Dolyniuk or have been to something like this?

HelloDelilah,Yes I seen photo and I would've been under the table for sure i have a low alcohol tolerance.

HelloDelilah. That sounds really interesting. Have not heard of Brody but will now familiarize myself. :)

I agree w/ you and Chevy— I often think how great it would have been to be part of the piano singalongs at Garden Lodge.

JB, Chevy, I have a low tolerance level too and rarely drink alcohol, so I would probably have more fun at a Garden Lodge gathering with good food, loads of fun, meaningful conversation, and of course, sing-a-longs!

@JB050, thanks for your review of "WWRY." We'll see it Nov. 23rd, more than 2 mos. away. Thanks for your consideration, but I don't object to spoilers. For example, when it comes to books, I have no self-control and always have to read the last chapter of a book BEFORE I start Chapter 1. I'm glad you enjoyed the show and found it entertaining. I look forward to it even more! BTW, have you received your Queen + Bejart Ballet video yet? I'll try to watch it over the weekend.

@HelloDelilah, my friends and I saw Brody Dolyniuk last July for "The Music of Queen with the _________ Symphony Orchestra." Insert the name of my metropolis. It was BEFORE we saw Queen + AL: The Rhapsody Tour in concert. Brody's obviously no Freddie or even Adam, but we enjoyed the concert and his performance.

I'm another one who has very low alcohol tolerance, but that hasn't always stopped me. I have genetic Antabuse. My face gets red and I feel absolutely ill when I overindulge. Then, I curse myself and swear that I'll never touch a drop again! LOL

JB050, I think so too! It would be awesome to set around GL and listen to Freddie and company play the piano. From what I here they had a real nice time always when visiting him on holidays he made it special.I think that's nice alot of people don't see their families for different reasons and it made it nice to have a place to come too to feel a part of a family.Poor Phoebe had to do all that cooking but he loves to cook he says so I guess he was pleased to provide the meals on these special occasions.

I’m with all of you on the drinking. I am very occasional too. I do like a beer at a concert. :)) definitely couldn’t keep up. I agree Chevy it does sound like special times filled with warmth.

I heard interview, think it was w Jacky, that for the hat party, Freddie personally greeted each guest, letting them know where to find everything etc. so cool. Really does give that feeling!

Jo T! It will be here before you know it!! Can’t wait to hear from you afterward. And, wish you could have seen my expression reading your post I loved it!!!! ME TOO! I’m such a skip-to-the-end person too!!! Haha.

Thank you for keeping it on the radar— Ugh, I did not get my DVD yet. :(. But it does say could take 15 business days and since was released
On 6th am holding out hope that I’ll get it soon.

I had ordered Phoebe’s book and it was ‘on the way’ but never arrived. They couldn’t locate another copy so I Got a refund. Hopefully this one isn’t lost in transit. It will be fun to watch and discuss w you.
