Here's another project I've just completed. What I've done is I've taken Chinwonder's original source merge and I have replaced the original soundboard parts with Marlamir's relatively new remaster. This should be, to my knowledge, the best sounding version of the Hyde Park show out there now.

Definitive in the sense that it's the best that it can currently get unless more stuff is released.
Don't like it? don't listen to it. I made this for everyone, not just you.
Any chance of uploading it in separate tracks instead of one big flac file?
Thank you for sharing this!
Many Thanks! Sounds very good, although to be honest, I can't hear the difference between this and Marlamir's version. Maybe the soundboard/video source is so prominent that it almost completely masks the audience tape (which is fine by me). It would g-g-g-GREAT if a digital audio engineer / whizzkid out there could remove/fix/patch that horrible tape mangle at the start of "You're My Best Friend".
You probably can't hear the difference because it is the same.
That's OK then, because I think the audience recording is pretty bad, Fred and the lads sound like they are very far away (which they probably were of course). It's a pity there is no other 1976 live recording of Best Friend that could maybe be "patched" over the horrible distortion - I'm almost tempted to edit the whole song out of my personal download, as it spoils the flow of the overall concert sadly
