During his guitar solo in Mannheim 1986 Brian played bits and pieces from ‘Golden Days’ a song which was released in 1987 by Japanese pop idol Minako Honda. The song was also produced by Brian. Who else knows a hidden gem during Brian’s solo ?

Plenty - like Deck The Halls, Three Blind Mice, and Frere Jacques.

To this day he often does something culturally relevant to the place he's playing in, things like Blue Danube, Waltzing Matilda, Concierto de Aranjuez, Grieg piano concerto in A minor, etc.

Danny Boy in Ireland. I think he also did Silent Night, but I don't recall the venue/date.

You've also got Let Me Out at 1/19 Rio. I Go Crazy was also referenced at 1st Edinburgh, 2nd Puebla, and 1st Montreal. The latter was a shorter segment than usual.

I’m sure he played a bit of Fog on the Tyne on the 2nd tour with Rodgers in Newcastle

I loved the Blue Danube bit he played in Vienna 2005 with Q+PR. My first show of four on that tour. Here's younger me thinking "Wow. He must do these local references on every show. I'm in for a treat!!". Hahaha :D
