Lately he's been posting some gems.
Here he confirms that they agreed on the name Queen on precisely May 27, 1970. After decades of speculation, now we know.
And just a few days earlier they'd considered calling the band Stone Cold Crazy.
This is gold.
Queen was a perfect name for the band, no other name would have worked as well as it.
Happy someone mentioned it :)
Did you see photos with Freddie from Kensington Market at the end of 1969? Awesome stuff!
You've also got that unedited photo from the debut album collage

'Roger Mary Freddie' was actually what Roger said to Freddie when he first started dating her.
He sure posts some great stuff. Hope there's more to come.
I hope he's working on his autobiography.

Entitled
"One of the most fortunate persons in the history of human kind"
Wow, "Stone Cold Crazy" isn't a half bad name for a band either. I bet they'd still have become famous.
Nah too many bluesy bands around then with that kind of name. The 'regal' theme really suited the sound. Or did the sound come to suit the name? Hmmm
I can imagine a band called Stone Cold Crazy having really bad comic book covers of a sweaty man looking at a hot girl in denin shorts.
