Exactly, it's WESTWOOD ONE New York NY not Swindon Wiltshire, that's the difference, they are allowed to do anything they want.

I'm questioning the whole concept of "FOR LICENSED BROADCAST USE ONLY".
Although it looks perfectly legal, I still think it's kind of a fraud to produce these CDs with a company label and a catalogue number, instead of sending to an affiliated station or to the internal archive a CD-R labeled with marker.
The bold title SUPERSTAR CONCERT SERIES sounds like a shameless marketing advert not like a hint for the archivist were to store the CD.

Genuine BBC transcription discs (vinyl and CD) are sometimes labelled in a similar fashion, ie Pop Spectacular.
These discs often find their way into the public domain, which is actually to our advantage.
Many of these discs have not been shared, perhaps you would prefer it remains that way?

BBC owns the material while WESTWOOD ONE only present their program from May 13 1996, which just happened to be Queen. How convenient.

In which case you would rather the Westwood One disc is not shared?
I myself am not concerned with labelling, but with content.
If you downloaded it, then perhaps just thank the sharer.

Here's another interesting "Westwood One" issue that somebody just asked about it in another thread.
#94-15 (wrongly labelled Wembley ARENA) was produced in 1994 for a re-broadcast in April of that year.
It's possibly another "unfixed" version that was originally issued on triple vinyl by Westwood One back in 1986.
