Remember that a majority of attendees at these shows won't know the vast material of Queen. They will only be familiar with the songs on the Greatest Hits albums and in the movie.

It's a lot nicer atmosphere at live gigs when audiences know the songs because they sing along and interact. That's the reason why Spread Your Wings and It's Late were dropped - the audiences didn't know the songs.

Anyway, out of the 30 songs (excluding the guitar solo), twelve of the songs played were from the first five albums. Also, out of those twelve, only six were UK Top 40 Singles.

The set list has never been so different: several songs have been moved, six songs that haven't been performed by Q+AL in at least three years have been revived and there are two new songs.

For those who call this a Greatest Hits set list then come up with two hours of songs that CAN'T be in the list which will cause the show to be more popular in arenas with thousands of people in them.

Innuendo is a majestic intro. Great stuff.
Basically blind em and deaf em in the first 10 minutes, and while they are recovering from that put in the less good songs

Wonder if that is what Brian was recording with the orchestra a few weeks ago
The Golden Gate Bridge should have a long bungee cord for people who aren’t quite ready to commit suicide but want to get in a little practice.

Machines should be more condensed and a little bit faster.

Who could ever get excited about Adam Lambert and two Queen members milking the bottom of the barrel again?
This is boring and it sucks.

It is rather boring and if i was John Deacon i would go to Bali and stay there especially with Adam Lambert squealing the Queen back catalogue.
Some Queen fans need to get a life if they think this is exciting!

No. You need to get a life and stop stamping your feet like an 8 year old and whining about something you can't change.

Thanks Matt z.

I honestly don’t understand their decision to take “vídeo Freddie” out of BoRhap, and I mean it sincerely, no pun intended. I went to see their concerts in Brazil, both with Paul and with Adam, and that was clearly an emotional moment to the audience. I mean, it’s obvious that we can never have the real thing back, so that was like a small tiny glimpse of connecting with it that the audience could get. More so, IMO, than the love of my life segment.
Plus, this time they are touring on the wheels of the movie, which obviously has Freddie as the main thing and as vivid as ever in people’s imagination. A movie called Bohemian Rhapsdoy, for that matter, that names the tour pretty much.
IMO it would make all sense in the world to bring him back on video for BoRhap again, maybe even how it was in the PR days (for longer periods of the song).
I’m not on the bashing Brian and Roger side of things, much on the contrary, I appreciate the fact that they are still out there despite some things not being entirely up to my taste, and I do go and support it, as they deserve it IMO. But some decisions like this, to me at least, are hard to understand even from a business perspective.

I just have one question: why did they f*ck up Freddie's face here like that? http://www.instagram.com/p/BztppypBy56/

Prediction. Most, if not all, of the following songs will be dropped from the set list within the next few weeks:

Now I'm Here
Seven Seas of Rhye/Keep Yourself Alive
In the Lap of the Gods...Revisited
One Vision
Machines (Or Back to Human)
'39
Doing All Right
Dragon Attack

Reasoning:
1. Show is too long for them to sustain.
2. They do not typically play these songs.
3. They have pulled similar, "non-typical" songs from recent set lists before (e.g., Spread Your Wings and It's Late).

The excuse given will be something along the lines that the songs "do not work well in a live setting".
Now watch what happens. :)

Probably. I hope someone shares a recording before that happens.

Yeah it's easy to tell the songs that will be dropped. Will be whittled down to the same old set list. But why not? Gotta play the hits and they frankly have too many.

couldn't agree more.
