Thanks. Pity, it is the same 17-track incomplete set. But thanks!
There is also another FM broadcast from Capital Radio that I recorded on October 25th 1986.
I'm not sure how it compares with the other mixes, but there is a spoken intro by Brian May.
Here is a sample from a YouTube clip I posted last year, there is a download link for the full (FM) broadcast in the video description should you want it:
Thanks K, will definitely check it out!
Thank you Kurgan for sharing both radio capture versions ! Just noticed: ‘a day at the stadium’ and your ‘off the radio’ recording have different songs transmitted.. does it mean that now we have a possibility to create almost complete, overdubs free version of the show?
The Capital Radio broadcast has overdubs, I really haven't compared the mix though.
I think you’re right,, October’86 transmission already had overdubs: just checked Freddie’s vocal in we are the champions (“ And I ain't gonna lose” segment) It sounds similar to official release version
What do you mean by overdubs?
So, re-recorded vocals for the official release?
Yes, overdubs were often used to "correct mistakes" on official releases.
Yes, exactly. As I understand, ‘a day at the stadium’ bootleg version remains the only source with untouched audio. Radio transmission shared by Kurgan(dated 25 okt. 1986) already had re recorded in the studio parts, and later this version was used for the official release.
bias_head wrote:

Not strictly true, there are of course the transcription discs.
Of course, but i’ve never seen them in wider circulation
The Kurgan wrote:
