Knock it off runner_70!

I have noticed that a user named runner_70 has been frequenting the Queen + Adam Lambert forums JUST to s*** on Adam. I have no problem with people not liking Adam. Hell, I don't even like him that much. But constantly crapping on people like SweetCaroline just because they like Adam is messed up and makes the forum more toxic! Just let them be and let them like Adam.

I suppose a good question for you, runner_70, is why do you care about Adam so much? Most people like me who don't like Adam don't find it necessary to purposely go on a forum where they KNOW there will be Adam fans and start flamewars. Most people who don't like Adam explain why they don't and leave it at that. They let the Adam fans be.

@Innuendo559: People have a right to their opinion. I also am not a fan of Queen plus Adam Lambert and for me Adam Lambert is not a part of Queen. He is collaborating with them. He hasn't written any new material with them. It is just my opinion, but to me Queen will always be Freddie, Brian, John and Roger only.

I not a fan of Adam either but should you deny Roger & Brian the chance to play their music still? There's no way they could do it vocally. Just let them play music! That's what their lives revolve around!

And Adam has just said those very words in an interview a couple of weeks ago, he doesn't consider himself Queen either but while they are collaborating and while there's a Queen + section on this Queen forum people will discuss him.

At least most people except runner and Gerry/happy (insert 20 other names) leave that section alone or only make the odd comment if they don't like it. I agree with Innuendo559, there's just no need to continually stir shit on that part of the forum, you'd think a Queen fan would be more interested in the other parts but runner seems to be MIA for most of the year and fires up like some kind of bot every time there's a tour or some other high profile thing that gets them in the news and then it's constant spewing bile designed to ruin it for everyone who does like them.

@rockchic65: I am totally fine with discussing Lambert. But what is not ok is tothink it is to target specific commentators and make a whole post about them just because their opinion doesn't match yours. There is no need for that. If you don't like people criticising Lambert, then ignore those posts. Chill

There is a huge difference between discussion and level headed opinion and the type of constant slating and degrading comments that certain people keep repeating. Through the last few years it's become toxic not only do these people attack Lambert and band members they also launch abusive posts at the people who enjoy what the band is currently doing. . .

There are many members of this forum who don't like Lambert or just aren't interested in what Queen+ do and that's fine, they act in an educated mature way when commenting on the subject.

Rockchic like others has come under fire from two people in particular, and they continue to post the same views constantly.

I'm not a Lambert fan but I enjoy what they're doing with him singing. . . . That in the eyes of the person Rockchick was talking about makes me a cunt. . . . Oh yeah you can say that here because the moderation process works like a chocolate fire guard.

I really hope you aren't seriously comparing Stonewall and the LGTB community campaigning to QAL, you must be beyond delusional if you think some Queen fans protesting would have stopped Brian & Roger from teaming up with Adam and going out touring again. Brian and Roger have both made their feelings abundantly clear, they couldn't give a flying one about anyone's opinion, fans who didn't like the idea did protest and Brian's answer was "we're playing for the fans who want to see us, those that don't thanks and goodbye". You seriously think a few more fans off this site whinging would have changed that?

As for fans encouraging it, well yeah that's because unlike you some fans are actually enjoying seeing them, what you consider trashy and cheap is actually brilliant for some of us, the only problem you have is not accepting not everyone shares YOUR opinion.
