That was a very enlightening video, Brancelli. The gentleman that made it obviously had singing chops himself, unlike some of those poseurs who critique Adam's voice on youtube!! It just goes to show how hard Adam has worked on his natural ability to be able to sing as he does. You just can't suddenly sing like that without a lot of training. I would love to see a video relating to Adam singing Queen, as those snippets in the youtube were at the beginning of his career and his voice has matured and become even stronger. Thanks so much for posting that! I wish we saw more of that kind of a post on here and not the diaper fight. It is interesting to note that Adam certainly has toned down a lot of the really high notes and riffing. He is much more circumspect about using it now. Part may be to protect his voice, but some of it is that less can be more. I always wait for that tremendous high note in UP where he just runs up the scale and lets it ring! Then, of course, there is WWTLF!

Yep. Ken Tamplin is a phenomenal vocalist in his own right, as well as a vocal teacher, or coach, I suppose. The guy is very credible and knows his stuff.

And I agree. Those are definitely not his best live vocals. Good compilation, but no where near his best. To not include even the older stuff, like Come to Me, Bend to Me, Is Anybody Listening, or the even the Upright Cabaret stuff. Not to mention Heaven on our Minds. Sleepwalker in Moscow, A Change is Gonna Come from American Idol. Whole Lotta Love from Gridlock. Soaked from Glamnation tour. And Who Wants to Live Forever, etc.
