Easily one of my favourite songs.
This place used to be great, but now it is an absolute joke. For serious Queen discussion, please visit http://www.queenforum.net

I love the haunting quality that song has and Freddie sounded beautiful, in fact I love a lot of the songs on MIH.

A little coughing at the end, like in You Are The Only One, would have been perfect to conclude this funeral piece.
If there is something haunting about it, then it's David Richard's horrible musical arrangement who sets a new low after Innuendo.

Totally against it. Incest is the Devil's work.

To be fair, without an @ or a quote how are we to know which comment you are responding to if at all?

My God. Why do so many threads in Queenzone turn into fights?!

I like the song. It's depressing as hell and was a very bold decision to be released. There's no symbolism involved, just a song of almost disregard and resignation. Odd that Brian wrote it and Freddie actually agreed to sing it. It's got a weepy feel of some of Brian's songs instead of *joking defiance that Freddie's had.

In times like these i can get why some people hate MIH. Because they grew up with a forceful person in Freddie and the others.

Hearing things devolve must be hard for others. It must have sounded contrived to some.

I think the album was honest. By picking around from sources they created a cohesive QUEEN album.

I'm fond of the album but can also understand some and their disregard for the sadness inherent in it.

As with everything they did, there's wonderful production, excellent sonic scapes and incredible performances.

No lie, i had a hard time distinguishing their voices for innuendo when i first heard it. It's sad that Freddie lost so much of his timbre. But what a powerful set of pipes. The album is a gem to me.

Not merely "made in keyboards" as someone suggested before
"Come tonight! Come see the Overbite! Come to Ogre Battle, FIGHT!"
