Happy 33rd Anniversary Hungarian Rhapsody!!

One of the best live concerts ever! Freddie was at his peak and gave it his ALL. Unfortunately, the Magic Tour was their last together.

How do you all feel about this concert? I love when Freddie sings "Tavaszi Szél Vizet Áraszt."

Here's the concert for your enjoyment! Sorry, I don't know how to make this a link. :)

Really enjoyed the Concert. He was indeed in fine voice.
This place used to be great, but now it is an absolute joke. For serious Queen discussion, please visit http://www.queenforum.net

33rd anniversary of Hungarian Rhapsody? Is it really 2045 already?

I like the way Fred totally gives up trying to sing Tear it Up. He must've gotten very bored with that song very quickly.

Hungarian Rhapsody Mmmmm to me they look like they were rushing through all the songs,
the concert felt like they were trying to hard.
Not as relaxed as The Magic Tour.

Budapest was part of the Magic Tour.

Great show. Good sound and Freddie was in a very good shape, much better than both Wembley concerts.

A shame that a show like Vienna wasn't properly filmed and recorded. Those indoor 1986 shows must have sounded awesome. Luckily we have some great AUD recordings.

It was an interesting time before the Berlin Wall fell. I love the footage of the scenery and touring they did. Fascinating city. I visited there in 2003 and would love to go back and see how it is now.

@Rick, I agree. Freddie was in his best years, probably at his pinnacle, then sadly went down after that. That's too bad about the Vienna shows with poor AV as the technology was excellent back then.

Yup, those indoor shows were complete liftoffs!

Wasn't Budapest outdoor?

@Anagramer, yes Budapest was outdoors but they were referring to other concerts like Vienna which was indoors and had excellent sound but doesn’t have good visuals.

I wish I was fortunate to see Queen live during their heyday. Unfortunately, they stopped touring the US after 1982.
