Apparently Leakth.is has a 1 minute snippet of Atlas Shrugged from the Chinese democracy sessions with Brian.
The story goes that someone bought the contents of a storage locker that belonged to a Geffen records executine which had 20 Cd's from the sessions.
More leaks to follow by the sound of it.

Interesting that this has made its way here haha.
Yes, a lot of stuff has been switching hands recently, and stuff will be leaked eventually :)

Catcher in the Rye was leaked back in 2006. I've got two versions but I think the only difference is that the more recent one is just processed for noise reduction.

According to Rolling Stone there is a third track with Brian called ‚perhaps‘.

As the OP mentioned, there was a locker with about 15 CDs in it, all filled with tracks. Those have been switching hands recently.

Since this is in the announce forum, attached here is the leaked snippet of Atlas Shrugged, recorded in 1999 and supposedly featuring Brian May. The other track possibly featuring Brian is called Perhaps, also recorded in 1999.
The fan who purchased the locker contents claims he has about 20 CDs of rough mixes from the late '90s/early '00s Chinese Democracy recording sessions. Only a couple of snippets and a few photos from the CDs seem to be circulating for now.

Geffen Records buy this CDs back to their own vaults... so sadly nothing of this tracks will appear in puplic.

You're right.
Because it's impossible to make a copy of a cd before you return it.
