Wardour previously released this recording as "Champions Shoot" in 2006, but much of it had an awful hum throughout. Either they found a new source tape and made the same edits, or they managed to isolate the frequencies with a good EQ and eliminate the problem without harming the top end. Either way, this is a nice upgrade to all previous versions of this special day in Queen history.

The highlights are undoubtedly The Prophet's Song and See What A Fool I've Been. In the former Brian pulls out his EBow on stage for the first time while Mercury exercises his operatic range, and in the latter Mercury absolutely slays in the last ever live airing of the Seven Seas Of Rhye B-side.

In a radio interview done in Argentina in 1981, Roger Taylor reflected that Freddie had "improved by leaps and bounds," calling the early years of Queen "an incredible transition." This show reveals that transformation taking place in real time.

I'll never get tired of hearing how excited the fan club members are after learning how the band will play a short set for them after the video shoot - the one and only time such a thing would happen in their career.
