rockchic65, Yes it’s NOT about Adam “preening!” I find it fascinating because the opening music has already started and he is casually putting in his ear monitors, interacting with the stage people and then doing what the audience doesn’t see: singing the opening lines of NIH, showing the precision of hitting the right spots as the music plays.

The Show Must Go On documentary showed us how they do the warmup vocals before a show and walk together down a hallway. This clip gives an insight into where those quick costume changes take place right under the stage.

I saw something similar once about Gaga and her many costume changes literally right under the main stage with several people undressing and dressing her while she was in motion for the next part of the show. Performers obviously love what they do to be so professional both on stage and behind the scenes.

No, I mean before Brian and Roger go onstage. Do the three of them warm up right before they all go onstage, that sort of thing. Group huddle? I have no clue.
Is this the first time ever AL has shown right before he goes onstage? [/QUOTE]

As far as I know they all get together just before a show and run through harmonies to warm up, it showed a bit of that in the documentary then they split and do their last minute bits and get organized on stage depending on how the opening number is gonna be done.

I haven't seen any similar one's on his insta before but he has occasionally posted bits from rehearsal/soundcheck etc. Maybe they'll release some actual footage of rehearsal and prep before a show the way they did with Freddie at some point, would be interesting to see.

I'd like to see them rehearse and to get some insight how that happens.

Good grief, watch the documentary! It showed all of that during their Las Vegas residency last year. They all entered the stage together. The current show has Roger, Spike, Neil and Tyler already positioned on stage and both Brian and Adam entering separately at two different times.

Yeah it's interesting, I like seeing behind the scenes bits and getting a bit of insight into how it all works.

Just saw on Brian’s Instagram him mentioning that they did some experiences with the setlist in Chicago. What were the changes?

In The Lap Of The Gods... Revisited was played after Somebody To Love instead of before. And, The Show Must Go On has been moved to the encore where it is played before We Will Rock You - IMO a much better place than where it has been, much earlier in the set.

These are the only two changes I can see.

They also removed “Machines” from the set list after AOBTD which is breaking my heart. It is my new favorite and I am seeing the show next Tuesday. That has been such a cool addition with Freddie’s image on the stage and him singing the bridge. I thought maybe Tyler was ill because I think it has been him harmonizing with Adam in that song! PLEASE put it back, B&R !!!

Are you surprised it seems to be dropped? I'm not. Actually at this point, I'd bet it won't end up being played again. Then again, I wasn't expecting it to be played in the first place.
I'd say good luck that you hear it in the show you attend, but that may cause you to lash out at me again. I almost hope you end up being disappointed, it would serve you right.

I watched it. Distracted and i dont remember every little detail because at the time my father was in his last days. Better now?
What else are you going to rant at me for. I'd actually like to see more of that type of stuff between the three of them.

Thanks for the links Rockchic. I will watch it soon. Not sure if it's still on my dvr or not.
ETA ~ Not on my dvr. Think I erased it to make room for a hockey game.

“I have been to the @UnitedCenter for 3 @NHLBlackhawks championships and @QueenWillRock had that place just as loud last night. If you get the chance to go see them do it. @adamlambert is a monster!”
