I’m asking a really noob question but I was wondering if anyone could back this up? Heard a few years back that the glasses Fred wore in the SYW & WWRY Promo were Elton’s glasses? Any truth to this?
Did you really hear that? Hmmm.. definitely no, Elton has genuinely poor eyesight and I'm pretty sure Freddie wouldn't be able to see through these if they were Elton's plus... they just aren't outrageous enough for mid-seventies Elton who was more into ridiculous frames than actual lenses.
Elton had very similar glasses, his were more colorful though

They were only sun glasses but never heard Fred got them from Elton but nice gift if he did! To Melina from Sharon! lol
