Say it's not true!

You've been a real treat and you've suffered a lot of unnecessary abuse. If you grew to be a Queen fan because of Adam Lambert then more power to you! We all got there with different introductions and in different eras.

I’ve always loved Queen music! Who hasn’t? But yes, back on May 20th (my deceased husband’s birthday) in 2009 when Brian and Roger joined the two Idol finalists on stage, the interest in that music was rekindled for me and many others. I hadn’t seen Adam’s audition singing Bohemian Rhapsody and didn’t know this was a full circle moment until I saw his brother Neil jumping up and down in the audience.

As The Show Must Go On documentary portrayed, it really is quite amazing how the Queen/Adam collaboration came about and has grown over the past 10 years. The current Rhapsody Tour is the culmination and a tribute to that growth as it has become bigger and better with every worldwide venture. I obviously have enjoyed the journey with them. I have 7 t-shirts as proof — 2 from the 2014 Tour, 1 from 2017 and 2 from 2019 plus 2 “Queenbert” shirts that I can’t remember where they came from on line!

I also have accumulated original Queen items along the way! Long live the Queen!

Lamefuck has nothing to do with Queen apart from destroying their songs with his thin women's voice and his annoying vocal acrobatics

Keep telling yourself that while other Queen fans are seeing the light and realizing Adam brings a lot, just different, to the Queen catalog.. Just read a tweet from a big burly older dude who said he totally underestimated Adam. A lot of that going on! Plus almost all the tweets mention that voice, which tweets for other artists never do. You are totally out alone in left field kicking rocks, while everyone else is enjoying this wonderful tour. Your loss!

I'm actually sad this North American tour is ending tonight. That could very well be the last opportunity for we Americans to see Brian and Roger live. I hope that's not true but...they are in their '70's .

Adam has done a fine job and I appreciate that he is a great instrument in this modern setting and brings a lot of youth and vitality to both the show and to Brian and Roger. Would I go see his solo show? Probably not, but in this context of modern touring and what a "Queen show" requires he is about the closest thing to a perfect fit that you can get. I'm just grateful to have seen Brian and Roger live and the show is wildly entertaining.

PrimeJive, while not nearly as magnificent as the QAL shows, Adam’s solo tours have been very well put together, exciting and entertaining! I recommend seeing them as well.

Rockchic It does not matter where i have seen the news that Queen are nearly finished because you would just say do not believe in the press! Just wait and you will see that Adam will be on his own real soon.[/QUOTE]

They've already got next year booked for Aus, Nz, Korea, Japan and Brian confirmed yesterday on instagram that they're sorting the Europe tour out which will include UK as well so that pretty much takes care of next year. Who knows after that, they aren't getting any younger so realistically they will stop at some point, maybe next year will be the last maybe not. I'm not bothered that Adam will be on his own after they do stop touring but I will miss the QAL tours.

I respect that some people don't like Adam touring with Queen, but don't get the level of hate here. I miss Freddie so much and he is irreplaceable. That said, the Queen and AL tour in America has been an astonishing success. They sold out every arena and the demand on the secondary market for tickets was through the roof. Many of the floor and lower bowl seats were going for over $1,000. The tour also has received rave reviews from the critics across the country. Some said it was one of the best concerts ever and the worst review I saw (New Orleans paper) seemed to like it with reservations. Also, all this is not attributable due to it mostly being AL fans going to the show. While the crowds were diverse in terms of age, most people were definitely over 40 and old enough to be fans of the original group, The ratings by the concert goers was 4.7 of 5.0, with the people even commenting that they aren't particularly AL fans giving a 4 star rating. Also, to my knowledge AL has had only one top 10 single here and has never been popular enough to do an arena tour. No, the masses here went to see Queen and adored the show even with AL.
