Practically you are asking if someone from this forum bought the tapes. It's very unlikely, considering that Queen fans are in general cheap.
Probably less then 1% have a reel-to-reel recorder, and in any case they wouldn't recognise they've been ripped off.
On the good side, they are also generous enough to share it, and smart enough to smell a fake. So my assumption is that no one from here bought it.
My scenario is that Wardour prepared the "new pre-fm source", tried to sell the reel-to-reel tapes on ebay to the most gullibles ones, and then cashed the rest with the CDs.
Paranoid but plausible. Anyway, what do you know about Wardour except the name? Ebay fakes may be one of their most lucrative activities.
