IK Multimedia released an expansion to their Amplitube 4 sim to have most of Brian May's rig including his Vox AC30 amps, Deacy amp and around 5 pedals. BUT it's $90
Do ya'll think it's worth it to get Brian's sound?

Yes, I absolutely love it.
It is not “100% exact”, because tone also comes from the fingers and the other million variables, but it is close. In my opinion it doesn’t sound too “fake” like most virtual amps.
The preset “Royal Fanfare” is one of the coolest things to monkey with.
I recently did some recordings with it along with my actual “MayDay” pedal by Greg Fryer and it blends well.

I have absolutely no idea what this is about.

Might be worth checking out these vids by James Rundle about it.

To get the Doc's sound, I would say it's worth it!

I accidentally bought the iOS version whilst looking at it (damn that finger recognition button)
It’s ok but There seems to be lot of repetition in the presets....

I'd personally recommend Jamie Humphries' official videos on it above James', but each to their own.

If you really don't want to spend the money, watch J. Rundle's video (you'll end up not buying it and your wife will thank you). If you're inclined to buy, watch Jamie Humphries' video. You'll love it.

I seriously agree with Fireplace's comments. If there ever was an insight/performance or demo of a product to promote any gear, learn a Queen song then DO NOT bother with Mr Rundle's videos. Atrocious ear, guitar ability or insight and knowledge into BM products, tones, style etc etc etc… After 30 years playing and being a guitar teacher by profession do you really not feel you would be better off asking a 1 year novice guitar player for advice on their views or lessons instead?

Meanwhile I bought the software.I don't want to go into how it compares to the original or other options for the BM-sound, but I can tell you that it's loads of fun and it's been hard to put my guitar down since. Well worth it IMHO.

Rundle’s videos are rubbish. He even pissed off the maker of the CQ Red Special guitar weeks ago with this video that made the CQ replica sound like muddy garbage.

For me it’s a yes.
I find some of the tones to be muddy, but the vast majority is really cool I’d say.
