Going about 1.5 hours away to a Hard Rock Cafe to celebrate Freddie’s Birthday with a tribute band. So excited, never been before. Thinking of whether to dress up totally as Freddie or just wear the mustache. Anybody else going to a party too ?

No plans. Used to tribute when i worked karaoke.
Not a fan of mustachioed Freddie so much. Wish i could perform a MUSICAL tribute somewhere among ordinary people but right now my chops are pretty weak

Tartlet, How exciting!! What city will you be traveling to? I don't have any plans as there's nothing in my area. I guess I could fly to the other side of the world to Montreux. I bet there will be some wild festivities going on there!! LOL
Matt, what time period and which look do you prefer on Freddie? He was like a chameleon. When I look at him in the 70s, he doesn't seem like the same person in the 80s. Both his voice and style changed.

Matt, I hear ya. ;) I didn’t quite like that look either at first. Loved his early 70s in his younger years and mid 80s when he was so powerful on the live stage.
