I was 12, dude, when I got my first Elvis albums. I haven't had a crush in more time than I care to remember. I don't have a crush on Adam. I just really enjoy his voice and am totally entitled to do so w/o denigrating remarks from you. There are thousands of grownups who are in awe of Adam's voice.

Plenty of books and videos of Freddie’s personal life to see what he’s like. He’s more down to earth than Adam during an interview, sophisticated, casual... mostly conservative mannerisms aside from his sense of humor.
Freddie went with a macho image before AIDS was on the lips of anyone. It was a gay trend with the mustache. Freddie didn’t hide his sexuality, he just didn’t need to talk about it.
I doubt very much Freddie at 73 would out-gay Adam. Freddie liked to be macho, while Adam likes to take selfies to impress the little girls and boys on his Instagram... and old women. Freddie wouldn’t find Adam attractive at all... not Freddie’s type. Adam is too in your face about his personal life... Freddie didn’t think that was needed. Freddie’s close friends didn’t either. Did you notice he hung out with guys who weren’t so “in your face” about their sexuality constantly? Elton John, Peter Straker, Dave Clarke. Real music artists express themselves through music by writing songs. Adam is definitely not Freddie’s scene... he’d probably be weirded out viewing Adam’s Instagram, Adam seeks attention even in interviews. He wears makeup in every interview I’ve ever seen... all of his photos too.

Why on earth is any of that important and half of it's rubbish anyway. When Freddie was around it wasn't accepted to be openly gay there was still too much stigma around it but these times are very different so who knows what Freddie would be like if he'd been born in 1982 with the current climate and all the social media that didn't exist then. How can you possibly know if he'd have been the type to wear lots of make up or take selfies and even if he'd been no different so what Adam is a completely separate person why should he be judged by what Freddie was like.
As to what he's like in interview Adam is very down to earth, wearing make up which is something he likes to do is nothing to do with being down to earth, is Elton any less down to earth because he wears ridiculous glasses? What kind of way to judge someone's character is basing it on what they wear or if they wear make up.
Anyone who ever works with or interviews Adam all say he's genuine, kind, the nicest guy etc, he's loyal to his friends who he's had for years so why judge him for posting stuff on instagram when we live in an age where all artists need to keep up a social media presence, it's become a job for them to keep followers, it must be annoying and whenever Adam doesn't post anything his fans complain he's not active enough on insta etc, in fact they complain he's not as active as some regardless and I'm sure he's well aware of their comments. Back in the 70's/80's artists did the odd magazine interview or some publicity around album launches but for the most part they could live out of the public eye, imagine what kind of photo's would be out there of Freddie in clubs in munich etc if everyone had phone camera's back then, you can't judge two completely different era's.
As to being Freddie's type I agree he wouldn't and Freddie wouldn't be his but no idea why that should matter.
Adam’s Instagram screams attention. Ridiculous selfies in there. It’s too bad that for all his attention-seeking Instagram posts, he still can’t sell a record anymore.
Freddie wasn’t into all that makeup in his personal life. That’s not even a gay thing... that’s a “I have pock marks all over my face, I will hide them and pretend I’m more beautiful than the average person” kind of thing.
