Adam does not have the same TONE in his voice as Freddie. That is why he does not sound exactly like him. But his voice is powerful and not thin. Tacky? Did you think Freddie was tacky? Harsh and grating? Some people think his voice is too mellow and theatrical and not raw and gritty enough to be rock. Give me a break. Which is it? B & R are glad that he can sing anything they ask him to sing!

Regarding the auto analogy, my son always says that Freddie was like a peppy sports car, a Thunderbird, and Adam is like a smooth Lamborghini!

Please god don't ever let AL record an album with BM&RMT.

I’m glad Freddie didn’t have to pretend on a glass to be kissing a pee-pee with a HUGE spelling error. I’d rather see Freddie give a dude a blow job than seeing this fake crap

Adam’s voice is actually very thin when he tries to sing a rocker. His range sounds terrible by that point. Those unnecessary vocal dynamics aren’t what rockers do at the end of every line. It’s thick though when he’s singing pop. Rock music just isn’t his thing.

Once you accomplish heavy metal vocals, which Freddie can do, you can do anything.

If your son is saying that, he’s 12 years old. I’ve read that line from you before. Send me his info so I can ask him about that.

Adam is like a cheap Neon LOL... and they are out of production.

Adam has made less money in 2019 than Freddie, and Freddie died in 1991. Freddie earns more money in the USA alone annually than Adam makes worldwide annually.

If you want to call Adam a 1st class meal and Freddie a 3rd class meal, that’s your issue. Keep blaming it on your son, but he said no such thing. If he did, he’s certainly got a hard on for Adam.

80% of Adam’s income is through touring as Queen, singing the songs Freddie made famous.

Adam’s solo albums lose him money. If they don’t sell, they lose money... they don’t sell.

I’d say 90% or more fans at Queen + Lambert concerts are there for Brian and Roger.

If not, where are those fans when Adam’s selling music?

Adam can’t write a song by himself, he can’t play an instrument. He doesn’t have a rock voice.

He should start singing for Cadbury commercials in elevators. He’d really make it big time then.

80% of income, sorry. Nearly 100% of his income these days is through Queen.

You better start thanking Freddie!

And Adam can’t dance.

I’ve actually seen more of his solo crap than Queen crap.

Have you ever heard of hair metal with the really high voices? Lots of rockers in there, dude. Not all rockers sound alike. Then there are other kinds of rockers, Think Arrowsmith, ACDC. There are a ton of rock bands with singers who have lighter, really high voices and those happen to be the kind I like best, not the baritones and not voices like Paul R. I happen to think Adam could fit in perfectly with a band like Avantasia. My son just saw them in Japan and said Adam would fit perfectly in that band. He has seen them many times all over the world. It is one of his fav bands and I have listened to a lot of their music. Adam's voice is suited for that type of rock. Certain songs of Queen sound better with a lighter, higher voice. The way PR sang them was a travesty, IMO, but you are certainly entitled to your opinion. I have gone to all three tours of QAL and the concert goers are most def. not all Queen fans, at least not here on the East Coast of America. There are many, many, many Adam fans of all ages. I was probably the oldest person in any of the front section. The fans are younger for both Adam and QAL, which is a great thing for everyone involved.

Your idea of how rockers sing isn't Adam's idea of how it is done and that is why Brian and Roger chose him. They wanted something different than a MM, they wanted a singer that could sing anything from their catalog. He is not Freddie and he won't interpret them like Freddie did. That is the whole purpose of having him sing. It is supposed to be a little different. His voice is def. not thin, it is just higher. Opera tenors don't have thin voice, they just have higher voices. Adam can blow you out of the venue, but his voice is never going to sound like baritone Freddie. I don't know why you people can't get that thru your heads. You can have a high tenor voice that is very powerful and that is what Adam has. I have never heard Adam sounding thin. I think for you it just has to do with expectations and wanting him to sound like Freddie and how he sang them. A QAL concert is not a rehash of Freddie. The songs sound a bit different due to the different voices and the way Adam sings them. Freddie chopped everything off and Adam holds out the note. If you don't like the show, don't waste your money on it. Go see someone that fits your definition of a rocker, but for me and millions of happy QAL fans, Adam fits the bill!

Go to a show!

Go to an Adele show. It's great it's spectacular. You can't judge Adele unless you see her live.

What do runner and SC have in common?

They are both annoying trolls that have been banned by QOL.

@misterCosmicc

You're on a roll there lol and you can say he can't sing rock all you like but there's lots of rock/metal dudes who love his voice and plenty say so after the QAL shows, not all rock singers sound like Freddie or Paul and lots of metal dudes love the high type of voices like Seb Bach's or Miljenko's, you're in cuckoo land if you think everyone at the shows dislike his voice or just put up with him.
