Not sure if this has been posted or discussed here, but lot of good info on the Live Aid multitracks (yes they did record on multitrack).
And that squealing noise on CLTCL, was Brian's amp blowing a valve.

Yes, lots of information on a very technical level, but it paid to read all of it. I have learned a lot from the great info that was in between the technicalities I can't reach.

Interesting article, in between the "full-nerd" details (you never want your bus compressor to get too dry, or something). Greg will be wanting to have words about staying "on-message", corporately, though - some mild contradictions of him crop up here and there.
