I think it's that they (me included) don't rate Lambert. Nothing to do with his sexuality.

To make out that the reason people don'r rate Lambert is homophobia is to divert from the real issue people don't like him: That his voice is thin, harsh, and grating, and his image is as tacky as hell.

I've been to a Q+AL show. Lambert sounds just as thin, harsh, and grating in person as he does on the videos. In fact, it's worse as he's louder.

Like I say, I can't stand Lambert's vocals or his tacky look. I think everything about Queen+AL is just embarrassing and cringeworthy. I've been into Queen for many years, but now, Lambert is forced on Queen fans that follow Queen on social media (where you now witness Lambert fans reacting to any reasonable criticism by telling Queen fans to "shut up", or "go away"), and he's included into the Queen story in books at the end, whether Queen fans like it or not.They even put some of Lambert on the DVD in the recent News of the World box set.

Lamebert was on the NOTW boxset DVD?I guess not. The docu was recut for TV and included him.
But you are righr he is being forced on us and it is embarrassing to the max.
I wonder why those 4 loonies always come here. They have no interest in Queen, never post in the Queen section and are not liked here. So why not going to a Lamebird FB group or opening up a Whatsapp group where they can drool over their idol all day. I never get that. They are only here for winding Queen fans up
