It is sad once again to announce the passing of someone from Queen's past. Richard Thompson, drummer and ex member of Brian's first group 1984 and Freddie's group Wreckage. He left us last month. Richard played at all gigs with 1984 and used his double bass drum kit. A likeable guy who became friends wirh Freddie, who asked him to join Wreckage after Ibex fell apart and played all the gigs with the band that they performed. He attended our convention in 2007. He will be sadly missed. Rest peacefully Richard.
