Maybe I missed something, but there is an interesting list on Spotify, apparently compiled by Queen, of Freddie's favourite tracks, ranging from Dusty Springfield through George Michael and Prince, ending with a couple of opera classics. Not sure if it was discussed before, but the playlist seems very much like him!

It's surprising a compilation CD hasn't been released along these lines. Bowie has a few, and other lesser artist's have curated similar. Perhaps the licencing doesn't add up for expected sales.
