If the band members were informed of Freddies illness in 1989, when did their families find out if at all? Brian and Roger were both divorced but would they have been able to clarify things with their families? John wasn't divorced and had teenage children - did he have to keep a secret for 2 and a half years? Anyone know how this might have worked?
I believe that Jim said in Mercury and Me that Freddie told Dominique after she was diagnosed with breast cancer as a sort of solidarity; she'd always have his shoulder to cry on if she needed to talk about it.
Do you think his cats knew, while we’re on topic?
I feel like Roger may have known in 1988. He seems to break slightly in a Swedish interview upon mentioning uncertainty behind Queen's future in regards to live performances
Jimmy Dean, re:

Knew? It was the cats that impregnated him with it.....
I read a post on a thread about a book that was made by someone who used messageboards as research that they might have yes.
The real question is, did his mail man and cleaning lady knew ?
When the mail man emptied his sack into freddies box?
I know one thing for certain, that we all know by now about Freddies illness. Ffs...
I lolled at Dysan's comment.
