The Circle of Eidolon has read much of what runner_70 has said through out many posts on this forum.
ANAGRAMER, in normal social commentary The Real Wizard's post is indeed harsh. However you should realise that from acorns big trees grow.
The Circle of Eidolon has watched runner_70 scatter acorns of pure hate, the resulting trees are many.
The Real Wizard has just cut down one such tree, there are many more and eventually one such tree will crush runner_70 as it falls
ANAGRAMER, we The Circle of Eidolon hope you have learned something from this, The Real Wizard is not the one you should be pointing fingers at

You are one of the few remaining bright lights here. A true delight and an original. Keep up the good work.

The great thing about the good doc is that he is willing to take anything on, just like Queen did, respect to the man.

Yes, agreed. However, in my view Brian's guest appearances on other people's records are mostly underwhelming -- like this solo. Of course, he has to serve the song but often his solos are quite dull. Except for New Damage and Have a Cigar, I can't think of anything where he has stretched himself. Willing to be proved wrong, of course :)

Yes Respect, I do not subscribe to the Touring interpretation of Queen, as a solo guitarist who is prepared to put his neck on the line I have total respect for the man, and as a human being who I had the great pleasure of being in his company I have total respect and admiration for him.

I agree re - guest appearance, I think now we are seeing just how much Brian bounced off Freddie in the studio, Freddie certainly seemed to squeeze the creative juices from Brian.

I dunno if that's true. It's all different music innit.
They can't all be Love Train.

I rather say it was vice versa that Freddie brought out the best in Brian. What worthwhile stuff did he record since Freddie's passing? 1 good and 1 average solo album , 2 Ellis records with mainly covers and numerous collaborations that are rather forgettable. Kudos to him for his Dr. but his guitar playing has suffered and he completely dried out as a songwriter for almost 30 years now which is pretty sad. Instead of going the nostalgia route he had the opportunity to do sth more than just play the Greatest Hits over and over again.

The Circle of Eidolon has warned you that eventually one of the Trees of Hate you have planted will fall and crush you.
Are you not in the least concerned?
