If they knew what they were doing they'd reissue THANK GOD IT'S CHRISTMAS/BoRhap as a Christmas single with bonus content in a mock XMAS card like the o.g. ....sell it for like $4 at retailers as either vinyl45" single with downloadable content code or as a cd single
It'd sell like pancakes and they could ostensibly have a THIRD & FOURTH DECADE of a BoRhap #1 (2010's and 2020's if released properly)
Original spanned 75-76, in 1991 spanned 1991-92, this year could span 2019-20

Nice thinking.....though they even missed the boat by not even having a promo video for Thank God....; Brian even recognised that on his soapbox a few years ago! They finally whacked up a lyric vid a couple of years back but that won’t get it looped on continual playback on the TV Xmas music channels!

Pure fantasy. BoRhap got all the attention it could get with the film release and it still only broke the top 50 again last year. TGIC or mock packaging wouldn't help it either, people simply never bought into TGIC (although it's a nice wee X-mas song) and new kids will certainly never buy into it either.

I'm holding out for a 2020 boxset of The Game.

WOULD be a huge seller if they included FOUR random Christmas Postcards in each package
Typical set = Freddie, John, Roger, Brian
But unusual wild cards = unusual photos and VACATION photos.
John on permanent holiday
Brian on writers holiday
Roger on sometime drummers holiday
Freddie...well. .. ONE card will reveal his "final resting place"
And the wild cards will be Stickells with nose candy/White Christmas
Etc
Geeks would buy 4 copies each time (*thinking they'll be worth a ton of money,; and time would tell)

The only way Thank God it's Christmas would get any type of attention is if they throw some cash at it and make a great promo video not some boring mash up of old clips i.e let me in your heart etc or the outrageous Made in Heaven films or karaoke lyric style crap I'm not a fan of the latest shite fans doing dance routine to dont stop me now and kind of magic, what a strange thing to ask of their fans nearly as bad as those ltd edition balloons.

They could make another animation of two men getting AIDS and dying.

@dysan: Please repeat your post out loud in the voice of Bela Lugosi's Dracula.

I don't know how to do that.
