Look, I can't get excited about Q+AL at all, but "saying his own music is boring, and that he had to rely on other’s talent to have an interesting song to perform." has absolutely no value if you're trying to use it as an argument to dismiss Q+AL. He was hired to sing Queen-songs. He was decidedly NOT hired to bring new music for the band to perform - and no matter what some AL-fans think, he's definitely the junior partner in this deal, meaning that if deep down he really wants to sing something else, that's not relevant either. So the quality of his songwriting is absolutely no factor here, as "rely[ing] on other's talent to have an interesting song to perform" is *exactly* what he's meant to do with Brian and Roger.
Coming in here with criticism of his songwriting skills is petty - just as petty as the AL-evangelizing by some here. I personally don't think AL is a particularly interesting artist, and I don't think his work with Brian and Roger is worth listening to, but what you're doing here is just trying to pick on those who do like him.

Actually I think it’s a great article. It makes a great point on how his music isn’t catchy or rememberable. I don’t know why, but that’s the way it is. Usually I can’t find something I can call rememberable and catchy with mosts artists, even ones I don’t like.

Someone's obviously got time to spare to find an "old" article. The desperate measures people go to prove that their right and that the actual band who's decision it was in the first place to choose him is wrong. #respect
