Someone said this to me. Can anyone tell me if this is true, cause in interviews Freddie said that it was pretty easy and that he did it himself.

I think they're laughing at your laziness posting a screengrab of a discussion and asking people to open the picture in order to see what you are talking about rather than just copying it here for us.

It is pretty lazy. But on topic, that has to be one of the stupidest things I've ever read about music production. No, it's not true at all. Every layer of vocals is recorded separately, and then the mixing engineer layers them on top of one another, processing them in such a way that the end result sounds properly balanced, doesn't add too much noise (layer upon layer of tape hiss...), etc.
"Those harmonies are done by technology" - nope, not even a little bit.
"With just two tones of Fred, they could create magnificent harmonies" - they wish. Even with today's technology, it's practically impossible to make it sound remotely natural if you try to do it artificially by shifting pitches.
The person who wrote that seemingly wants to sound interesting and knowledgeable, but has little if any knowledge of 1970s recording methods and technology.

Is this Freddie? Some people say it is and some say it isn’t. Now I’m confused and thrilled to know. If you have the answer please give me a source.

I wanted to make a topic of that and now I accidentally responded to this forum. Ignore that please.

Diegardqueenie, that is definitely not Freddie. The bone structure is totally different as is the nose and ears, lips, hair, in fact, everything. How anyone can think that that's Freddie is beyond me.

I thought so too. Someone on Instagram is claiming it’s him while it’s obviously an impersonator! I almost started doubting myself because she was so convinced. I just hope to find a source so she understands but whatever, it’s not my problem she doesn’t know what Freddie looks like.

Not Freddie. This guy pictured has a bulbous nose tip and bigger forehead which is probably why this sack of shit who wants to tie himself into a legacy selected such a mannered and deliberately angled photo **no doubt in low resolution)
Just saying.
There are crazies
then there are cat people
then there are sociopaths.
I'm not sure what scientific differences result in which but they're pretty close.
It's gotta trace back to something. .. Which would be the other field of psychology
Unless you're posting a photofrom a TRIBUTE BAND and presenting it as something else.
Also. I remember someone posting an account of one of Freddie's contemporaries saying something like "don't let the gay part fool you, Freddie could handle his own" (regarding physical prowess)
*but Freddie never had those biceps either. 1,000% Maury Povich style NOT HIM
