“Try thinking for yourself for a change.”

Stop projecting, icy! It is you who doesn’t have an original thought and only post in response to other people’s posts! It is pathetic and annoying after 8 years to hear the same crap over and over and over and over and making new people so unwelcome! You have such a shallow life. It is you, not me who needs a drastic change!

I'm surprised Jon Bon Jovi is rated so high. I don't get that one.
Because it's on technical ability and he has or at least had good technical skills.
Does he? He's the one artist I purposely don't listen to. Haven't for years, but I never thought of him as a technically good singer.
I would say he's pretty skilled technically, he's lost range now but he was good but he has a distinct way of singing that might not be to your taste.
There are few artists I can never listen to. Jon on Jovi and Bon Jovi are on a very short list that I have. I don't know if I should try to explain myself, but I have horrible memories associated with that music. It's unfair, I know.

I'm not projecting, that's what you do.Do you even realise what a message board is for, it doesn't seem that you do. Boo hoo, you don't like my replies to you or my views.
I can and I do think for myself. You don't, because you can't.
What have you done for 8 years. Spam, shit stir, and cry wolf, that's basically it. You have basically admitted to it here today.
The digs about my personal life again, a bit ironic coming from you, but you must always try to deflect and point fingers at me, no matter what. What must be your life like, spamming and promoting a guy who doesn't even know you exist? Limit to say the least.
You need a change, you could start by saying you are sorry, or that you were wrong, but you don't have the guts or decency to do that. Yes, you hate me, but now you have judged Queen fans very wrongly at times, that's you projecting and that's you being hateful. Because it's all tit for tat according to you. Got it.

"Taking more liberties with melody than any vocalist should, Adam completely botches a large part of Queen’s greatest hits’ setlist, which includes everything from Fat Bottomed Girls, Under Pressure and Another One Bites the Dust to The Show Must Go On and Seven Seas of Rhye.

A particularly awful highlight is Lambert’s unique take on Somebody to Love (check 1:24:40). Even the best of all GPS units couldn’t help him find his way to the correct notes and even worse still is that when all else fails, Lambert resorts to slathering on goat vibrato hoping to mask the mistakes. It’s bad. And don’t forget about Bohemian Rhapsody (1:40:10), where Lambert’s voice gets so shrill you’d swear you’re listening to a bird and a cat fucking. In a blender."

Yes, Saint Jiub, That is a good example of the nasty crap Adam has been put through. He did a fantastic performance in Kiev and in Belfast and in Poland and in Russia and in the UK and everywhere else he has been with and without Queen!

No it's fair, Most people have horrible memories associated with Bon Jovi. Richie Sambora's guitar playing was the only thing that saved that band from being a complete mess. Jon BJ was a limited singer, but it was the fact he took his weedy voice and shitty lyrics so seriously that made him a laughing stock among rock fans. But the housewives loved him.

I am fine with discussing on a discussion board but I don’t need nosy people telling me what I know or like and that I hate Freddie and Queen fans and that the only entertainer I like and follow is Adam Lambert and that posting information about him and his collaboration with Queen is SPAMMING. BTW I have been next to Freddie and Queen fans for 5 years since 2014 at concerts and not only that, I consider myself a Freddie and Queen fan. It is NOT being disloyal to Freddie to love both him AND Adam! When I have posted about his harlequin onesie and short shorts, it is in retaliation for the nasty comments about Adam’s stage outfits! All of the nastiness has been totally unnecessary and started when nasty people couldn’t stand that Adam’s performances were so outstanding and had to demean his excellent vocals by comparing him to a goat! Why? Why can’t we be happy that Queen music is still being performed live?
It's obvious that you are not a Freddie fan or a Queen fan. The most you ever had to say about Freddie is about what he wore onstage. Now you admit it that was in retaliation because of what was said about AL. For whatever reason you have tried to knock Freddie down to try to make AL look better...and on a Queen board no less. Where do you get the nerve? Anything to make AL look better and suit your twisted tit for tat mind games. That's how desperate you are.

I think you don't even realise where you are posting at most of the time. You do not love Freddie, I doubt you even like the guy. For years now, you have failed to realise the significance of November 24th. You have used that time and every other time on Queen boards to promote AL. You have used Queen boards to promote and spam about AL without a care. You are no better than a spambot. And you had the nerve "asking" if rather implying I broke QOL. Anything that goes wrong, your first reaction is to blame me.
As for people being nasty...a bit rich coming from you who has said you outright hate me, and judging by your comments about Queen fans, I think you have a vendetta about Queen fans as well. Mainly because Queen fans don't feel the way you do about AL , which you don't like. You have proven you have a vendetta about me and now Queen fans. Something else you've proven Iike never before.
Wow, you ate still holding onto the grudge you have about some Queen fans when they said AL sounded like a goat. Still bothers you after all this time. When you started Freddie had sex with every gay man on the planet, that's worse than saying someone sounds like a goat. By that comment you made about Freddie, there's no way I think you love, like or even respect Freddie at all. Funny what gets to you and what you do when you are pissed off. You lash out and let your true colors show...and my dear, most of us can see right through you.
I don't think know how you can tell all of AL's performances has been outstanding, when you haven't seen every show in person. More hypocrisy, hyping up and bullshit from you.
You are happy only as long as it's Lambert singing with Brian and Roger. You want and need the praise for him. I can see you turning on Brian and Roger once Q+AL is over. That's how intense/obsessed you are. The difference is, you think you are doing it out of love, it's not love. It's frightening what you do.

One thing I will never understand. Why the hell did Brian and Roger ( at two different times, Brian at the Brit Awards and Roger at The Great Music Experience ) play with them in 1994.
Even they could not make the music better.

Why are you posting a review from 2012? No idea if you've ever seen them live but I did in 2017 and he was amazing, that was their very first show together in front of around 400,000 people after nine days rehearsal, pretty sure most bands thrown together with so little rehearsal and a singer learning new music they didn't create wouldn't be spot on either. Fast forward to 2014 onwards and they were great and have only got better and better.

That was his first show with them ever and it certainly was not his best. I even cringed here and there, esp. on the the real rocking ones like SCC. I am sure Freddie didn't sound all that in his first show ever! Pick a review from last year (7 years later) and they are all pretty much stellar. People grow and learn and change how they approach the music. I am not surprised you had to go that far back to find an awful one. I have gone to every tour and each one they improve by leaps and bounds. Adam's voice has matured so he sounds a little deeper on the rock songs and his use of the high notes has decreased a lot. But funny thing is that the concert goers are disappointed when they go to a show where Adam is a little more restrained. His voice is phenomenal at this point and I can find thousands of links to articles stating that and from real concert goers. His voice truly sounds different if you are there and he does justice to Queen's music otherwise Brian and Roger wouldn't be touring with him.

Icy, can you you give it a break since it is Thanksgiving eve? That long diatribe didn't add anything to the discussion. You have written the same thing a thousand times by now (slight exaggeration) but you get my point.

Stone Cold Crazy is never his strong suit, IMO. In all the times I've heard it, it left me cold.
Thanksgiving has come and gone here in Canada, but why should I give it a break because it's thanksgiving. Someone else has often repeated herself and didn't stop bigging up AL even this past weekend or anytime since, so why should I give it a break now? To appease you and the other Glambert here, no thanks ;-).
When you have something to say about what your buddy does here...then again you won't because what she does isn't that bad according to you.

You are disgusting and a miserable human being. As I’ve said many times before I will post what I want and you can jump up and down about it. The day you post something original in this forum about Queen + Adam Lambert will be an amazing breakthrough. Until then, Miss Icy, you can go pound some salt!
