I looked how many posted about Freddie and can say there's plenty names of what I'd consider Queen fans, one's who regularly post in the serious threads who didn't post in the anniversary thread or only posted after Jazz+ decided to fuck it up and then it was to argue with him.

A while later you came back to post about the date. There are billions of people in the world who have no idea of that date including people who like Queen and their music and who go to concerts and buy their CD's, et, etc, etc. It has nothing whatsoever to do with empathy or any of those things. Most people enjoy music and really couldn't care less about what you think are important dates. Here in the States a good part of the population cannot tell you when Columbus Day is or Veteran's Day or any number of other important dates. So somehow I don't think Freddie ranks up there with national holidays and if people don't know or apparently care about that, they are not focusing on Nov 24th. Not knowing why that date is important to some people on here doesn't mean any of the bad things that you guys are saying. That is a non-starter, just one more thing to bitch about and just shows how over the top all of you are. I am not impressed with the Queen fans who let that date go by without a few words. Why don't you bitch about all those people who really do know and didn't bother. The whole subject is just ridiculous. I wish that was all I had to worry about in my life. Your posts here proves to me you don't realise or care where you post on. It's a Queen board first and foremost. It's not a non starter, no, especially when promoting AL is more important to SweetCaroline than even realising what date it is, or anything elseshe does. She can't hold off from doing it for a day or two out of the year while posting on a Queen board, so yea, she has no empathy about anyone or anything that isn't all about AL. This isn't the first year, she's done it every year since joining Queen boards. The date matters to most of us here. So did she know the date, I don't think so, not for a second. Talk about yourself, icy, because you know nothing about me. Tell us why you are not able to celebrate Christmas this year. The first Christmas after my husband died so suddenly I made sure I had a Christmas for my two little babies, two years old and 9 months old. I sat on Christmas Eve staring at the Christmas tree my husband had bought and was actually trying to conjure him up and wanting so desperately for him to come back to us. If you think I don’t have empathy for a young man of 45 losing his life so young after losing the father of my children at age 35, you are beyond crazy. Leave me alone and deal with your own life. I have had to deal with mine and,unlike you, I try to bring joy to my family even though there has been a very special person missing for most of their lives. I have been mother and father and grandma and grandpa for my kids and for my grandkids!
