Where does Dimash perform live? I only saw him on TV on that short lived competition show hosted by James Corden.[/QUOTE]

Are you still smelling Adam's speedo while asking him to call you 'grammy'?

He mostly sings in Russia and China. Only had one concert in America, the sold out Barclays one.

This was won song of the year in Russia (ending is unreal).

SweetCaroline thinks Dimash is boring, according to her post a couple of days ago, so I doubt she ever was interested in Dimash.

For Caroline and snifflese:

Best live singer? F2-F6 (4 octaves) in this recent song:

Btw, not really a fan of the song, but the 3 key changes are crazy, and the technical skill in a live setting is unmatched by Adam.

Hey Brancelli!

I just listened to the video and while I can appreciate the technical skill, I am not a fan of the sound of Dimash's voice. The beginning with the lower notes and an almost growl just doesn't appeal to me. When he goes from those low notes to the very high register, it just sounds jarring. There is not smooth transition. His high notes sound colorless, almost as if you plugged the notes into a computer and not a human. Other than having a huge range and hitting the notes properly, his voice is one I would never enjoy listening to. I find Adam's voice a lot more appealing as it is warm and has color. His high notes just don't sound bland like Dimash's. They are rounded and his voice gives me goose bumps whereas Dimash's leaves me cold. Everybody responds differently to music! But he is an amazing technical singer!

Fair enough, and I appreciate you taking the time to listen to it. I am a fan of Adam as well, so I can not argue with your taste. I do believe Adam has a stronger mixed voice than Dimash, and yes there is a lot of fry in the low notes in this video. But Dimash doesn’t need to fry or growl to reach F2. He did here to give texture to the chest voice whisper at the beginning. In growl he has done several A1s and Bb1s, lowest chest note without fry is E2. As I said, I’m not a fan of the song, but in terms of technical skill, it cannot be matched by Adam. Maybe “Heaven on our Minds”.

Hope all is well with you in these times. As long as you’re not trolling no need to argue music. Just respect what one another likes, and I hope everyone has a great weekend and listens to the music that continues to feed the soul.

I like his performance on the second link better than the first one. When Dimash sings, he sounds like two different people. His very high range sounds like a female opera singer. I should google him because I am wondering what is his age.
