I recently discovered some of their work and I'm really impressed. Tracks like Psycho Killer, Road to Nowhere, Life During Wartime, Burning Down The House and Once in a Lifetime never get old. Pure classics, IMHO.
Stop Making Sense is a must for every fan of music. One of the best live concerts put on film. Again IMHO. You can find the full thing on Youtube (with a horrible Instagram filter...).
David Byrne is such an interesting artist. I came across this the other day: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kyJNJOyO5Hs
And Tina is a really solid bass player, btw. Yep, great band!

Yep, one of the finest artists of our time.
When he was on the Colbert Report years ago, Stephen let out one of his best one-liners ever:
"David, you've made a career out of constantly reinventing yourself. Don't you get tired of doing the same thing?"

I have a best of that I really like. Good group with a talent for staying interesting. The opposite of Freddie solo releases nowadays of course.

^ doesn't help that Freddie 's dead, y'know.

He's dead???? That explains a lot.
But seriously, I know I can't expect new stuff or something that wasn't on the solo collection but my gripe is more with the Never Boring title and the awful remixes on disc 2 of LOLSOS. That's all.

I'm not a huge fan - but if that's the kind of thing you like, check out Polyrock and Devo. Rele kool sheet man.

This is my favourite version. A bit more uptempo. Also features Adrian Belew on guitar.

Can't stand them, and I happen to like a lot of stuff from the new wave / synth pop / post punk alternative stuff from the 80's, but Talking Heads is probably the one band where every time one of their song pops on the radio, I immediately have to switch the station.
I just don't get what's all the fuss.

I always thought Talking Heads were where the Doors would've transitioned to - had Morrison lived.

In principle, not a bad group, but against the background of others in the same style it looks dull
