Hi there,
A tracklist like that would have been very interesting IMO...
- Another One Bites the Dust
- Crazy Little Thing Called Love
- Play the game
- Las Palabras de Amor
- Cool cat (or Dragon Attack ? or Calling all girls ?)
- Back Chat
- Under Pressure
- Save Me
The same applies to The Works + AKOM and The Miracle + Innuendo.I think.
Do you agree with that ? :-)

I could not disagree more. Are you a butcher in real life too?

absolute not! - your first post, as well. it can only get better for you!
leave Innuendo, Miracle and Game as they are.
Merge AKOM, Works and HS (recording sessions) into one decent LP. It will end up being Roger (as main writer) to make it a good LP.
One Vision
Under Pressure
Action This Day
A Kind of Magic
It's A Hard Life
Las Palabras de Amor
Radio Ga Ga
Man on Fire
Let Me Live
I Want to Break Free
Hammer to Fall
Princes of the Universe

The Game is fine as it is, leave it alone. Hot Space is not that bad either, the production is not great on some of the "funk/black" tracks and Body Language is simply poor, but overall it's not as bad as some say it is. The idea of a merger is quite tempting though when you look at The Works and AKOM, you could create one very outstanding album from that.
Good luck with future posts, I would be mildly surprised if it went downhill from here.

I’d have to say that’s a great idea actually, I’ve thought about it before. I’d take out all of side 2 of The Game except for Save Me and add Pressure. Dancer, Back Chat and Cool Cat.

A very brave post for a newbie so kudos to you. You are spectacularly wrong but fair play.

LOL
I think The Game and HS partly share the same DNA (synths, funk influence, romantic ballads, vigorous vocals by Fred...), hence my suggestion. That was just for fun of course !
Anyway yes I'm a butcher, I have blood on my terraces and torsos in my closet :)

Lose side 2 and we lose Rock It, which is one of Roger's better songs and one of my favourites. It shows how much fun Queen were when John let loose.

Nah. Cocaine excess did them in. Short "AMERICAN" laudation and chasing crap they'd heard in charts and clubs (*trying to be WITH THE TIMES instead of their own unique element that revisited old styles with balls)
I never compare it. But if you ever compared HOT SPACE to any album at arms length it's a lost cause. The album has no free flow to it (THE GAME) and no memorable fun bits (GAGA /CRAZY to save it.
It's got a great fluke of a track from John and FM in COOL CAT but beyond that.a realistic comparison of songs shows how phony and lame the album was.
Brian had been guesting on others songs by then and his spice in contrast to The dull a-rhythmic crap from most of hot space is THE only saving grace to it.
God, I'd KNOWN instinctively but this MASH UP game just reveals how weak the material was (*except for COOL CAT and obviously UP)
It's almost a frightening reality check.
for all their fake labored efforts on THE WORKS. .at least they had something
The most respective summary of these i remember is a 00's book that said in essence "despite their missteps" their studio creativity always saved them through a slew of awful 80's tracks.
God no!
No mash ups.
THE GAME clocks in short and effective.
Neither of the albums until INNUENDO ever matched that (MIRACLE came close)

In my opinion the works need some more songs that fitted with human vs machine, war vs piece, human emotions, relationsetc
Radio Gaga
Tear it up
It's a hard life
killing time (has some Freddie's backing vocals)
I go crazy
There must be to life than this
Man On Prowl
Machines
I Want to break free
Keep passing the open windows
Love kills
Hammer to fall
Is this the world are we created?
The Game is great as it is
Hot Space I can't think something that could make this album any difference even if some of its songs could have been in any other album.
A Kind of magic should have extra songs like AKOM highlander version and some instrumental from the movie, also the acoustic piano of one year of love which a snippet can be heard on the movie.
