I doubt we'll get demos from back in the days. They'll create Frankenstein versions like the ones from the NOTW set to "deliver a polished product that's up to Queen standards"
I'd prefer no release at all to faked tunes and their efforts to re-write history.
John Deacon: "I've heard what they did and it's rubbish." "Freddie can never be replaced." Brian May & Roger Taylor - ruining Queen's legacy since 1998.

This year the 40th Anniversary of The Game album and so unloved by fans soundtrack Flash Gordon. IMHO It would be much more logical to release a box set for these two albums than to release a box set of the The Miracle album with a delay of one year.
But QPL is QPL
If memory serves me right, they say they said 2019 was very busy for them. I wonder what they did ? With whom? Dances on the bones with Lambert?

Those "Frankenstein versions" were pretty great. The best thing they released since MIH.
Id like something in the style of the great Whitesnake "Slip Of THe Tongue" boxset which was released last year. The had demoversions all rolled into one song from rough first ideas until almost finished without hearing any cuts. Sounded awesome. Still heard to believe they chose "Miracle" for a boxset. Easily their worst album by far. I could live without demoversions from Rain Must fall or my baby does me as those songs were pure garbage. Why not Live Killers or Jazz or The Game

I think that the Miracle is the small brother of Innuendo. Like ADATR is a bit shadowed by ANATO, for me The Miracle is shadowed by what came after.
That's all about personal taste, but for me that album was the most exciting thing to hear, in terms of discovering new Queen songs and albums when you are a Queen fan discovering everything for the first time.
All the earlier albums sounded like 'old' for me but with The Miracle there was a freshness, a modernity, a new kind of Queen sound.
I don't understand the dislike for this album; it's true, that much like 'The Works', it contains a lot of Hits (The miracle, Invisible man, Breathru, I want it all --- I mean those which are on Greatest Hits) and therefore we could be disappointed by the less known tracks on it. But I believe that this album is surrounded by a lot of mystery and there is a real potential in this boxset, commercially it has a lot of hits well-known by everyone who has the Greatest Hits collection and who'll be curious to hear where that came from.

Alas, I can not disagree.I am very sorry that I can not agree.
But Live killers hasn't demoes but Jazz, the game and Flash Gordon yes.

And I cannot disagree with you.It is amazing that the same bucket of slops poured on the Miracle and on the Hot space.

As long as the track lists are getting incredibly unlikely stuff (i guess we're falling out - unless a full demo exists) ....

Then you might as well toss in

MANIPULATOR (Roger's demo - as he'd gotten that nifty jacket made to show it off)
5 minutes of John Deacon studio cues. To even it out to around 70 minutes of bonus content?
"Come tonight! Come see the Overbite! Come to Ogre Battle, FIGHT!"

Those feeling when plans are changes for Lambert mad dances.
It's a shame to know that the release of this box set has been postponed. Don't wait either this year or even next.

The Miracle is a weird choice though...
I expected a 40th Anniversary of The Game, which was a milestone album.
Live Killers is long overdue.
And also expect something of an Innuendo boxset in 2021 to mark another milestone.
I can totally imagine a big boxset with that Grandville imagery plus FINALLY the release of all the videos off that album.

Live to dream...
My guess it that has primarily to do with the amount of material they have available.
Loads of albums should/would be a priority if they had stuff in the archives for it

They were hoping that The Miracle would be released this year but obviously that didn't happen.

My prediction of Miracle box set:

CD1 - original album
CD2 - non-album songs + single & extended versions
CD3 & CD4 - raw tracks of original album & non-album tracks + unreleased tracks
CD5 - "Queen for an Hour" BBC Radio 1 Interview
DVD & Blu-ray - promo videos remastered + the making of the videos & album cover features + interviews or even mini-documentary.
5 + DVD are pointless. there's Qzone folk editing videos that can probably do as well with those promo videos etc.
The 89 interview would be pointless now, post the bbc cd box...

Videos though - if they do it right, could be spectacular. I tune in to catch Rudi dolezal on YouTube, and he has stressed that all his videos were shot on 35mm film. In other words, with the right treatment they would look stunning

Fingers crossed
