Fucking dreadful tabloid TV tosh.

Freestone, Hince and Moran trotting out the same old shit they've given for all of the talking heads docs ever made. The cheques must be good......

As for the TV psychologist resplendent in "diversity" T-shirt - utterly pointless and embarassing her profession with her analysing someone she's only ever heard of on paper. She keeps popping up on similar shows about (often dead) serial killers and trying to pick those fucking loonies apart.......

Yes it has to be said the Freddie programme was not a Christmas story because it just went on and on about his illness and Freddie would not have wanted that.
The programme was cheaply put together and an insult to Freddie.
It would have been more entertaining if more musical icons were included discussing meeting Freddie and what was said etc......
Peter Hince & Phoebe were the only two decent people talking about Freddie but the rest just on TV for the five mins of fame !

These shows have been done to death for far too many years. If Hince and Freestone and all the others associated with Freddie had any "decency", they would reject any and all offers to be associated with such vacuous projects; it's pathetic that they are still clinging on to Freddie's success, frankly. What would be more entertaining is if the heads of programming could come up with more inventive and interesting shows than these.

The Jocko of Afro-Caribbean heritage? Clearly a highly random PC plant for "representation" purposes to make sure of no OFCOM complaints at the lack of diversity. They did try, bless 'em with a T-shirt emblazoned with the word "diversity" covering what may possibly be a fabulous pair of tits owned by that Psychologist bird, but even that was partially obscured by her blazer. Wonder if she spotted the irony.........

@Dudeofqueen Freestone & Hince are probably the closest people that new Freddie on a professional level and they must have hundreds of stories to tell
but a programme that was more adverts than detail in the documentary failed to even win me over.
I do however have a lot of respect for Hince & Freestone but out of the two i would say Hince.

Freestone and Hince have both written books. They've both been in the talking-heads shows. Any stories they have left and are worth telling are, presumably, under lock and key preventing any legal action or embarassment to the parties involved. There will be THOUSANDS of those which, of course should - but will never - be told. The stories they tell NOW are the same ones with different verbiage.

Reference "the driver" whose biggest moment last night was that it was the first time he had spoken about the time "the staff" had spoken about Freddie's diagnosis and decided to honour Freddie's wishes. Big fucking congratulatory slap on the back for you Sherlock..........

Dull, tiresome and utterly pointless; a bit like QZ's resident bootleg Policewoman, Officer Clawhauser.

This is an re-edit of another documentary called "The Greatest Showman", which is available on YouTube. It's not so bad, it's not aimed at super-fans, it's aimed at public and a bit of cashing in, of course.

It's nice that almost 30 years on, Freddie is still remembered so warmly. There hasn't been the same amount of attention bestowed on any other star to be honest, and that says something about Freddie.

Yeah, the documentary is a little trashy and cheap, but it's not nearly as bad as some of the crap that channel 5 has produced about Freddie.... Freddie's Lovers, Freddie's Millions - I'm ashamed that I watched them

Did John Lennon, Paul Mcartney, Elvis Presley, Madonna, Michael Jackson et all not have MORE attention "bestowed", then?
